Settings
The way into every console setting: a row of tabs leading to the brand, billing, the team, your account and the technical tools.
The /settings address has no content of its own. Opening it switches straight to the Brand tab. What you see is the frame shared by every settings page: a title, a subtitle and a row of tabs. You come back to this screen every time you move from one settings section to another.
#What the screen shows
- The page title and the subtitle telling you that your brand, your team, your account and the third-party tools plugged into SealTrust are all configured here.
- A row of 9 tabs, in this order: Brand, Billing, Domain, Team, My account, Developers, Integrations, Reversibility, Multisig.
- The open tab is coloured and sits on a tinted background. The others stay grey.
- The row scrolls sideways when it does not fit the window width.
- The title and tab block stays pinned to the top of the window while you scroll through a long form.
#What you can do here
- Click a tab to open the matching section.
- Scroll the tab row sideways on a narrow screen.
#What controls access
The onboarding profile chosen by the brand decides which tabs appear. Each tab can carry a hideForProfiles list, the profiles it disappears for.
- Profile
basic: the Integrations tab does not appear. - Profiles
basicanddpp: the Multisig tab does not appear. It stays visible for thefullandcustomprofiles. - As long as the profile is unknown, no tab is hidden.
- The Domain tab carries no profile condition. It stays visible even when the plan does not include the
white_labelentitlement. The domain screen itself is where that entitlement is explained.
#What the screen refuses
- With no account signed in, or with an account that holds no administration role, the settings do not appear. The page shows an access denied message and a sign-in button that remembers the page you asked for, so you land back on it afterwards.
- Until authentication and the plan are resolved, the page fills the screen with a loading indicator. No tab is shown at that point.
