# Your client brands' usage statement

Every month, what each of your client brands used, its public price and what you owe under your reseller contract.

---

If you offer SealTrust to your own clients, you have nothing to measure yourself. This tab gives you, month by month, what each of your client brands used and the amount that follows under the price grid of your reseller contract.

The statement triggers no invoice. The amounts are indicative and exclude VAT: the invoice is sent to you separately. The page says so above the figures.

If your account holds no reseller contract, the page tells you in one sentence. And if it cannot reach the server, it shows the error as it is: it never tells you that you have no contract when it could not check.

## The grid

Since 1 September 2026, all your client brands pay the same base, the one of the Compliance offer. A brand on the Compliance + Identity offer also pays for its pieces. The amounts, the thresholds and your discount are those of the annex of your reseller contract: this page describes how the statement applies them, never their value. Every price shown on screen excludes VAT. There is no set-up fee.

For every client brand:

- **Subscription**: an amount per brand and per year. The statement carries one twelfth of it each month.
- **Products online**: a product is a model. It is counted once per calendar year as soon as its passport, or the passport of one of its lots or of one of its pieces, has been public at least one day of the year. A product online since last year is therefore counted again in January. A product put back online is counted in the month it comes back, and a month already closed does not change. A number of products is included each year. Beyond it, each product has a price, and the products part of a year never exceeds a cap.
- **On quote**: beyond a number of products per year, the next products are on quote. The statement counts them and shows them marked "On quote", without a price.
- **Lots created**: a number of lots is included each year. Beyond it, a lot has a price that decreases by bands, according to its rank in the year.
- **Scans**: unlimited, within a reasonable use set in the contract. They are never billed.
- **Domain**: from October 2026, a brand that serves its passports on its own domain pays a monthly amount for that domain, from the month it is verified. If your shared domain serves your client brands, it appears once, in your account's lines, below the brands.
- **Formula supplement**: some formulas carry a yearly supplement per brand. Like the subscription, the statement carries one twelfth of it each month, and your discount on subscriptions applies to it. A formula without a supplement adds no line.

In addition, for a brand on the Compliance + Identity offer:

- **Pieces**: every piece created is counted once, per brand and per calendar year. A volume of pieces is included each year. Beyond it, a piece has a price that decreases by bands, according to its rank in the year. The pack lowers that price: the reduction is already taken off the public price of the line, and the summary of the statement recalls it.
- **Cap**: a maximum number of pieces per brand and per year. Beyond, pieces are on quote, counted and shown without a price.
- The Identity offer has no subscription of its own: the subscription is the Compliance one.

Each product, lot or piece is priced in the month it comes in, by its rank in the year: the twelve months of a year add up to the price of the year, to the cent.

The statement names the grid it was computed with by the date it came into force, for instance "Reseller grid in force since 01/09/2026". The Compliance grid, shown next to it when one of your brands pays it, is named the same way. A price change takes effect on a date: a month always keeps the grid in force on its first day, and a statement already received never changes afterwards. A month closed before September 2026 therefore keeps the grid of that time. One exception: the monthly reseller minimum was removed on 28/09/2026 for every month, closed months included. A statement of a past month that had been topped up to the minimum now shows the sum of its lines: the amount due can only go down, never up.

## Negotiated terms

A term negotiated with you, or with one of your client brands, appears on its own line, never inside a price changed in silence:

- **Negotiated discount**: a percentage taken off a line, or off every line but the gas.
- **Negotiated price**: the difference between the grid's price and the agreed price, for a subscription or a domain.
- **Domain offered**: the domain line is taken off.

Each of these lines carries the number of the term. A term starts and ends on the first day of a month: it applies to the months that start while it is valid, and never changes a closed month. A term set on a client brand wins over the same term set on your contract. Your reseller discount then applies, as on any line of the same kind.

## What the screen shows

- A month picker. The page opens on the last closed month. A month in progress is flagged as such: its figures are still moving.
- If your account holds several reseller contracts, a menu to choose one.
- A summary: the number of client brands at month end, your discount on subscriptions and on usage, the pack's reduction on pieces, the grid and the date it came into force, the ETH rate used for gas, the total at public price, what you owe, your margin at public price, and the amount due.
- For each client brand: its counters for the month, its gas, the lines at public price and at your price, and the alerts.
- Below the brands, your account's lines when there are any: your shared domain, and the terms about it.

## What each counter measures

Months are calendar months, in universal time. Midnight on the first day of a month belongs to the month that starts, never to the one that ends: the same creation is never counted twice.

- **Pieces created**: the pieces created during the month. The calendar-year counter is shown too, because the price of a piece depends on its rank in the year. A chip erased and encoded again stays the same piece: it is counted once. An archived piece is still counted. The count starts again on January 1st.
- **Products online**: the products online in the year, and those put online during the month.
- **Lots created**: the lots created during the month ("Lots created this month"), with the year's counter.
- **Models**: on a month closed before September 2026, a Compliance + Identity brand showed its models, unlimited and not billed. Since then, its products online are what counts.
- **Scans verified on the NFC chip**: the reads whose chip signature our server verified. They are shown without being billed.
- **QR code openings**: shown apart, never billed. A product page can be opened without the product: its address can be shared, and a QR code link stays valid for several days. What a phone reports about itself is counted nowhere.

## Gas

Creating a piece or transferring it sends a transaction to the blockchain, which costs gas. The real gas is read from each transaction's receipt, never estimated. When one transaction creates several pieces, its cost is shared equally between its pieces: each brand pays for its own pieces only.

- **Included gas**: an amount of gas per piece and per operation (a creation, a transfer) is included.
- **Beyond**: the real gas is re-invoiced at cost, without discount, since it is not a service.
- **Limit per piece**: what is re-invoiced for one piece and one operation never exceeds a limit set in the contract. The statement shows how many pieces were held at that limit.
- **Monthly franchise**: as long as a brand's gas to re-invoice stays under the franchise of the contract, nothing is invoiced and the amount is carried over to the next month. It is never forgiven: as soon as the carried total reaches the franchise, it is invoiced in full. The statement shows what comes in from earlier months, what is invoiced this month and what goes on to the next month.
- A transaction that failed on the blockchain burned gas, but that failure is ours: it is never re-invoiced to you.
- The carry-over starts in the month the brand is attached to you. The gas of a transaction made before that attachment does not enter your statement.
- A piece whose receipt has not been read yet, or whose creation on the blockchain is still pending, is counted apart, as "gas not measured yet". Its gas enters the statement of the month the transaction was mined in, as soon as it is measured.
- Gas is paid in ETH. A closed month is converted to euros at the rate set for that month, the same at every reading. That rate is the average of the ETH rates recorded on each day of the month, fixed once and for all when the month ends; the summary then reads "average of the month's daily rates". If it had to be set by hand, the summary reads "rate set for the month". The month in progress is converted at the rate of the day, and the summary says so. As long as a closed month has no rate set, its gas is counted and marked "not priced", never counted as zero, and the summary names that month.

## Alerts

As soon as a brand's products online of the year reach 80% of the quote threshold, the brand carries an alert. The same goes for pieces, at 80% of the pieces included, then at 80% of the yearly cap. You can warn your client before the first paid pieces, and before its products or its pieces go on quote.

## How what you owe is computed

- Every line has a public price and your price. Your price is the public price minus your discount.
- On subscriptions, the discount follows the scale of your contract, computed on the number of client brands at month end. Each band of the scale keeps its own rate, and the average of the bands applies. One more brand therefore never lowers what you earn on the others.
- On products, lots and pieces, the discount is a flat rate, the one in your contract.
- Re-invoiced gas carries no discount.
- The domain carries no reseller discount: it is a fixed monthly amount. The formula supplement follows the discount on subscriptions.
- A line without a price is shown with its quantity and the reason: "On quote" beyond a yearly threshold, "not priced" for gas without a rate. It is never counted as zero in silence.
- The total is rounded to the cent from the exact amounts, and the rounding is carried from one month to the next: the statements of a year, added up, give the amount of the year to the cent, even when the brand changes offer during the year, and even when a brand is attached to you during the year: its year starts in the month it is attached. What it made before counts for its rank in the year, never in your amounts. This carry applies from September 2026: a month closed before keeps the amount it was sent with. A twelfth of a subscription that does not fall on the cent is therefore one cent more in some months and one cent less in others. Each column rounds on its own: if its lines differ from its total by a cent, the difference is shown on its own line, with its sign. "Rounding of the public price" for the public price column, "Rounding of what you owe" for what you owe. For example, three subscription lines each rounded up can exceed the column's total by a cent: the rounding line then reads one cent less, with a minus sign.
- There is no monthly minimum: the amount due is the sum of the lines.

## A brand on the Compliance offer

A brand on the Compliance offer alone creates no pieces: it pays the base described above, by the number of its passports. If it comes from the Compliance + Identity offer, its pieces are kept, and the gas of their past operations may still appear on its statement. The statement shows the offer on each brand.

- **Piece passports**: only when a regulation requires a passport per piece. The counter stays at zero as long as that passport does not exist. If some existed, they would be on quote.
- **Scans**: the statement shows the scans of the model and lot QR codes for the month, those of the year, and the year's fair-use threshold they are compared with.
- On a month closed before September 2026, the Compliance grid was a proposal: the statement says so.

Each month follows the offer the brand had on the first day of the month. A change of offer during a month applies from the next month on, and never changes a month already past. Only pieces do not follow this rule. A brand that moves to the pack during a month can create pieces from that moment, and those pieces are priced in the month they are created, at the pack price, next to the lines of the Compliance offer.

## Through the API

The statement is read with a console session, never with an API key: a key is refused. The screen calls `GET /admin/reseller/usage-statement?month=YYYY-MM`, with `parent_brand_id` if your account holds several contracts. Without `month`, it is the last closed month.
